18 Weeks...How did you get here so fast?

How the heck am I already 18 weeks pregnant? I seriously can't believe another week has gone by so quickly.

I am still feeling good although this week I've started having lower back pain, I guess this is one of the joys I get to experience with the extra weight gain.

I think it's about time to schedule a massage, one is definitely needed soon.

My mid region is definitely getting a lot rounder, and you can definitely see that I am growing right below my rib cage. My mom said she carried the same way, so it looks like our pregnancies are going to be very similar. I am excited about this, because she had very easy pregnancies. Fingers crossed.

I am glad I am being good about taking weekly photos, it's fun to compare week to week how my body is changing. These next few weeks I think I will really start to pop.

This morning Sean and I met with a potential daycare provider. There is nothing more real about a pregnancy than trying to determine who is going to take care of your child once you go back to work. Luckily the woman we met with was very nice and she is the daughter of an old co-worker and another old co-worker has used her for both of her kids. We're going to go back and check out her facilities when she has kids there, but we feel pretty confident that she will be good for our little one.

I thought that I was getting a break from all of the getting up to pee in the middle of the night, but it looks like the peeing is back. Not sure why I'm peeing so much, the baby isn't that big to be pressing on my bladder. Even during the day it's ridiculous. Yesterday morning I must have hit going pee 10+ times in 4 hours. Sean told me I needed to start a tally list to keep track, I think that's too much to keep track of. At least my kidneys are working and if this is the worse of what I have to deal with than I"ll take it. At least I'm not vomiting or sick to my stomach.

Sleeping is still fine, although with my growing belly it's starting to get a little uncomfortable. Some days I like to take a blanket and lay out during my lunch hour. I found that I can no longer just lay out on my stomach. At night I have my body pillow to snuggle with on my side, but laying out without pillows isn't so comfortable. This has me thinking about what I may need to get for the beach this year, since I may not be able to just lay on my towel like normal. I think a small chair that sits low in the sand will work fine.

Ahh the beach...it sounds much better than having to work tomorrow. Hopefully the work week goes by fast.
