32 Weeks!!!

32 weeks, 56 days to go!

I've had a fairly good week exercise wise. This week I went for a 750 yard swim, a 3 mile walk and a 5 mile bike ride. I meant to go swimming multiple times, but my week got busy and I wasn't able to get to the pool as much as I had wanted to. I hope this week will be better in terms of more swim time.

One day this week Sean and I emptied out the nursery and we're getting ready to decide what we want to do with it. We're still not 100% sure, but at least the room has been emptied, it's a start right?, and we actually went to Home Depot today to get paint samples, so hopefully we can make a decision on paint color this week.

On Saturday my friend JoJo threw Sean and I a baby shower. It was so much fun to catch up with everyone, some friends came that I hadn't seen in a long time. Everyone was so generous and Baby Murphy is already so spoiled. We definitely have good friends.

The shower was at our house, everyone brought food so we didn't have to do anything, which including driving. It was perfect!

JoJo made this delicious cookie with pinneapple cream cheese and fruit. I love how it says
Baby M!

Lots of good friends!

The Parents-to-Be

We got lots of cute stuff, thanks to Janice and Whitney for this cute outfit!

and to Leanne for this fun onesie..."I'm faster than you...and I crawl"

So many wonderful gifts. JoJo surprised us with some fun Orioles onesies, so Baby Murphy will be ready for baseball season.

Janelle made us a diaper cake, and we also got a ton of diapers from others too, which was perfect because we hadn't gotten any before. Now we might be set for the first few months! We'll see how long they really last though.

I really can't thank everyone enough, it was truely a special day and it was fun being co-ed so all of our friends could partake and Sean was included as well.

Nothing else really going on pregnancy wise. My back is still bothering me and the baby is definitely moving a ton. I go in for my 32 week appointment on Tuesday. I don't expect it to be too excitement of an appointment, but it's always nice to see the doctor again and for them to check everything to make sure the baby is still healthy.

Tuesday evening I also am getting my second pre-natal massage! The best part, this one is FREE! My friend Jana is a licensed masseuse and is taking some classes and apparently one must be for pre-natal massage. She needs a "victim" and I graciously volunteered. A free massage, is a free massage. I'm excited!

One more week until our first childbirth class. I can't believe we're to this point already. I think going to childbirth classes and being around a bunch of other pregnant couples is really going to be another, "YES you are going to have a baby VERY SOON and NO you are not dreaming" wake up call.

Next week we also have an infant care class. I'm excited to learn as much as possible. I think ignorance scares the crap out of me, therefore the more I know and understand the better I will feel.

The baby is growing as normal and the post wouldn't be complete without weekly photos.

I've been noticing that the baby always seems to be "hanging" out on my right side. Either a head or a butt (hopefully a butt) is pushed up against my side (I hope the head is down....we'll see if the doctor can tell on Tuesday). I was mentioning this to Sean and he could tell because my belly was sort of lopsided, as opposed to symmetrical.

I think I mentioned this in a previous post, but it's hard to show in photos. To get a better angle I had Sean take a picture of my belly laying on a yoga ball. You can definitely see the difference, although it still doesn't portray it as well as it shows some-days in person. Baby Murphy is stubborn like his/her mommy and moves around when we want him/her to do something.

You can also see via this photo that the top of my belly button is starting to pop out a little. It's definitely getting very shallow and I have no doubt that I will have an outie (or a Button Belly as Sean calls it) by the end of this pregnancy.
