Sailing through 9 weeks

No real changes in the last week. I've been slacking on my exercise because I've had a sick husband and when I don't have him tell me what he's doing I don't feel as guilty taking off. I did however get a 7 mile run in on Sunday...wearing shorts (yay spring!), and a 50 minute bike trainer ride with JoJo last night. I hope to get a 5-6 mile run in tonight, and than maybe another short run Friday night. I have my half marathon on Sunday which I haven't trained for at all, but I'm excited to race and tell my baby later that they did a half marathon with me at 10 weeks! I just hope I can run the entire race, even if it's at a slow jog.

Boobs are still getting bigger and sorer. I forked over $40 at Dick's for a better sports bra. I figured I could switch it up with the double bagging it. Even wearing two of my target bras is cheaper than this thing, target bras are $14.99! I never realized why in running forums no one liked my target bras. Now I know if you have boobs there is zero support...who knew.

I caught Sean's cough/sore throat yesterday and was up all night coughing away. There are some medicines you can take, but they still don't recommend taking most until after 13 weeks when the organs are more developed. So I guess I have to suck it up and eat a lot of popsicles.

I've been weird with food, really only carbs sound good. I'm trying to make sure I get my protein through a protein shake, luna bar or lots of dairy. I actually was craving McDonald's the other day and stopped on my way home and got a 4-piece chicken nugget and small fry. It was like eting a salt lick and it was heaven. I probably haven't eaten McDonald's in over 2 years....I never eat fast food and if I do I would go to Chick-FilA for a grilled chicken sandwich with no fries, again I probably haven't been to Chick-FilA in about a year. I need to make sure this doesn't become a habit. Maybe I'll allow once a month.

I still have no inclination on the gender although just for shits and giggles when talking about the baby to Sean I'll say "she...." or "your son. ..." he always responds thinking that's what I'm predicting, I tell him I'm just trying to switch it up. According to the Chinese calendar that takes into account my birthday and the date of conception, we'll be having a girl. I guess it has a 50% chance of being right. I just want a baby, so I don't care if it's a boy or a girl. Sean thinks it's a Jaguar, so as long as it's not a Jaguar, I'm good.
