37 Weeks

37 weeks, I am now considered term, which means if the baby is born now we shouldn't have to worry about NICU time or any other complications.  Fingers crossed!!

This week I seem to have more energy, I'm sleeping better and my pains haven't been quite as bad.  I still have a hard time getting off the bed and have the groin pain that has been with me the last few months, but it's a lot more tolerable then it has been.

My doctor appointment went well this week.  No real changes.  Still 1 cm dilated, cervix is still fairly long, and the baby's heart rate was about 140.  I got good results in that my strep b test came back negative so I won't need antibiotics during labor.  I was positive with Kieran so I wasn't expecting my results to come back negative.  It was a nice surprise.  The bad news was that my blood pressure was a little high.  It was in the 130's so it wasn't too high, but it was in the "watch" zone so hopefully it doesn't get any higher.  My fundal measurement was measuring at 36, so same as last week but that's still within the normal range.

I can definitely tell the baby is getting bigger.  I had a few days with a lot less movement and of course it made me nervous but when I laid down and relaxed the baby moved enough to make me know everything is ok.  Of course the last two days we are back to normal movement and the jabs and rolls are just as strong as ever.

And of course belly pics from this week.  It's crazy to see how much the body needs to grow to make a baby!
