32 weeks and still pregnant and still showing no change in my cervix. My cervix is luckily still closed and I'm hoping I can get passed the dreaded 33.5 weeks when I found out I was 3 cm dilated with Kieran, 90% effaced and had a bulging sac. I delivered him a week later at 34.5 weeks. It's crazy not to know if I have 2 weeks left or 8 weeks left or who knows maybe I'll be late and have the baby 10 weeks later. All of this uncertainty is making me want to start prepare and be ready for this baby. I made Sean pull all the baby clothes out of the attic and have started to go through the clothes and start to clean out the nursery.
My doctor appointment was pretty uneventful. I met the last of the new doctors, Dr. Keller. She was friendly and she laughed when I asked if I was still 65% effaced like Dr. Jenkins had told me the week before. She said usually she just says 25, 50 or 75%, and yes I was probably about 65% definitely not 75%.
I'm still peeing 800 million times before bed and ready for an empty bladder. We went to Busch Gardens on Saturday and walked around for 3 hours, and let me just say I think I overdid it. My body was so tired when I got home and I think I need to take it a little easier. The pain in my groin felt like I pulled a muscle or strained it, or something pretty painful.
No real other changes. The baby seems to have certain times when he/she is very active and other less active times. Usually the evenings or after I eat are the most active. I have occasional days when I have trouble breathing, maybe "trouble breathing" isn't the right phrase, but it's just harder to breath. Luckily this is only once a week or so, so luckily it's not constant.
I can never think of anything new and exciting when I start to blog at the end of the week. Maybe I need to start blogging during the week and then just posting at the end so I can remember any exciting details.
I can't remember if I've blogged about how Kieran thinks I am having a girl and her name is "Purple." It's pretty cute, he's said it multiple times and he thinks/knows he's hilarious! We've been reading all of his big brother books and he seems to like them and possibly understand a little. Only time will tell.
Here are the photos from this week. Sorry I look like a mess. I made Banana Bread with Kieran earlier in the day and let's just say I think he got more flour and sugar on the table, floor and my shirt then in the bowl. Maybe I need to be better about wearing an apron. It also looks like I'm in desperate need of a hair cut. Hopefully one day this week.
