31 Weeks

After a few days of feeling really crummy I'm finally back to normal and back to just being pregnant.

This week the braxton hicks have started, and they made me a little nervous, even though they are completely normal.  Luckily I had my doctor's appointment on Friday and I'm still completely closed up, so they aren't real contractions!  I am starting to efface, I'm about 65% effaced, but the doctor isn't worried about this especially since the baby's head isn't in my pelvis.  The head is down just not putting pressure on my cervix, which is good.  He said I could have been effaced for awhile and the other doctors just may have not said anything.  I am measuring a little big at 34 cm for my fundal measurement.  The length is usually consistent with how many weeks you are, so I'm just a few cm bigger.  My doctor said this could be because of the baby's head not being in the pelvis.  The heart rate was between 136-139 and sounded strong!

This baby is a crazy mover and is much more active then Kieran ever was.  There is no worrying for me about if baby is ok, since I'm feeling movement almost constantly.  Maybe this baby won't be as lazy.  This will probably be our crazy child!  I'm curious to find out.

I'm still having to pee a ton and to be honest that's my biggest concern.  I am eager for the days that I can completely empty my bladder again.

These next few weeks I will be paying really close attention to my body and crossing my fingers that my cervix stays closed.  I just want to make it to 36 weeks and then I'll be fine for baby to come whenever.  I'm just hoping baby doesn't come 2 weeks late.

Here are my pictures from this week.  I think I'm looking really big now.  I was looking at pictures from last time and I think I'm the size I was when I had Kieran, which I guess makes sense if I'm measuring at 34.
