29 Weeks

Wow I can't believe I'll be in the "30's" next week.  This week I tried to stay healthy since I had a vomiting toddler at the house all week.  Luckily I was able to stay healthy and, knock on wood, currently the whole family is healthy so hopefully that means I will stay healthy as well.

No new symptoms.  My round ligament pain in my right groin is unbearable at times, but usually it's just getting in and out of bed and if I didn't have to pee every 15 minutes I probably wouldn't worry about it so much.  I have to laugh at myself sometimes because I seriously am waddling funny in the evening when I try to overcome this damn ligament pain.  Oh well, it could be worse, luckily it's just this one pain.

My back pain hasn't been bad, which is great and now that I think of it I brought a heating pad to work months ago and I haven't used it in a really long time.  I'd bring it home but then I'd probably need it so I'll probably keep it at work.

I now have weekly appointments which I like except for the whole internal cervix examine.  Nothing like having a hand shoved up your vag every week.  At least the doctors are being cautious so when I start to dilate we will know right away.  So far so good.  Cervix is still closed.  The doctor was so quick with checking the heart rate and fundal measurement I forgot to ask what it was.

I also forgot to ask about the results from the fetal fibronectin test, my glucose test and thyroid bloodwork.  I'll probably call next week just to ask, but since all three tests were done over a week ago I would assume the doctor would have mentioned if there were a concern.

The baby is now moving a ton, especially in the evenings from 7-10.  I love feeling the rolling movements not only because it feels pretty awesome but also because it gives me the reassurance that the baby is doing ok.

I have been feeling short of breath every so often, I'm not sure if the baby is pushing against my lungs or if it's just all the extra weight and being out of shape.  It's not really bad, but it sucks a little bit.
