26 Weeks

This week has been pretty much the same as the last few weeks.  I'm feeling fairly good, still getting back pain at the end of the day, not really awful but enough that it feels better to lay down.  The sharp pelvic pain in my groin is in full force especially when I get on and off my bed, which I do 800x in an evening because I have to pee every 5 minutes.

Little baby is moving all over the place.  I mostly feel movement in my upper right region, which is the same as when I was pregnant with Kieran.

My biggest complaint this week has been constipation.  I don't remember having an issue with this when I was pregnant with Kieran.  I went on peri-colace when I was on bed rest prior to having Kieran but that was only because the doctor recommended that because I was on bed rest.  This time around I am self prescribing it.  If I don't take it once or twice a day I am definitely suffering the following day.

The nurse weighed me when I went into the office on Friday for my shot.  They don't usually since I'm really only there to get a shot, not that it matters, but I was officially over 160 on their scale.  Yikes!  I'm only about 157-158 on the scale at home, but the doctor scale always makes you weigh more, plus all the clothes I was wearing add to it as well.  Getting into another "10s group" is crazy to me.  Considering I was 151 pounds the last time they weighed me before having Kieran it's no wonder my back hurts.  I'm already 10 pounds heavier then my heaviest ever and I still have 3 months to go.  It's a good thing I signed up for that Half Marathon in November already.  No excuses to get back to my pre-Kieran pregnancy weight!

Oh and here are my photos of the week.  I couldn't find my green shirt that I've been wearing every week, I think it's in the wash, so maybe I'll do the next 14 weeks in this shirt to switch it up.

Oh and just for fun, a comparison photo of 26 weeks with Kieran and 26 weeks with baby #2.

  1. Looks like you're a bit larger in the tummy area, but maybe due to the stripe in the shirt. Baby #2 is going to be here soon. Take care of yourself and the baby. Love you. Mom
