Per request from Stacy here are some bikini shots from the trip (27 weeks, 4 days).
Looks even larger from the sideThursday evening we took family photos with the entire Murphy clan.
No real changes or anything to write home about this week. It's still brutally hot and I'm still growing. The baby moves, kicks and plays around all day long and I still love the feeling of feeling the baby move. As noted above I'm loving sleep even more these days, and was glad I got to nap almost everyday on vacation and took a nice 3 hr nap this morning, (I was up at 3:45 am for Sean's tri, so I figure I deserved a solid nap).
My appetite isn't very much these days either. I really don't feel like eating, again not sure if it's the heat or the pregnancy. I'm staying hydrated, so I think the baby is really starting to squash my stomach and therefore making me feel full.
Working out has been tough, I'm going to do a separate post with what I've done the last few weeks, which hasn't been much. I did attempt one run on vacation and I think my body is just getting too pregnant. I think the next few weeks will include a lot of swimming, the one thing that still feels good.
I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday to test for gestational diabetes. Fingers crossed that I pass. Not sure how long it takes to get results back.
And of course, this weeks photos...

One last thing I forgot to mention was my dream from last night. I haven't had a pregnancy related dream in a while, but last night I had a dream that I had a son. I didn't remember being in labor so I confirmed with Sean that the baby had been born and that it was in fact a boy.
I questioned if I had been given drugs without my permission. Sean said I had no drugs, but I didn't even remember seeing our baby. Sean got a quick chance to see the baby before it was whisked away, it seemed so strange and that the hospital was being all secretive.
Fast forward to having the baby, I was attempting to breast feed and only could get milk out of one boob. The milk dripped on my chest and it was really warm, almost burning temperature and I remember thinking, wow, I didn't realize breast milk was so warm.
Random, I know.
On that note, it's been a busy week and I have to get back to the drawing board tomorrow, ie. back to work after over a week off. It's going to suck big time, so off to dream some more and try and catch up as much as possible on the thing I love the most these days....SLEEP!
