Night time sleep went from ok to amazing around 2 months and then right before I went back to work it went back to ok and now it's back to pretty amazing. At 2 months we had our first 10 hour+ night and then he regressed to about 6 hours, which was fine, but exhausting when I had to go back to work. We are now at about 10 hours again, but it really depends on what time he goes to bed since I like to feed him before I get ready on work days and then pump. Sometimes I wake him up since I don't want him to wake up in the middle of me pumping and have to give him a bottle in the morning. Bottle feeding takes much longer than nursing.
Around 3 months Bryce rolled from belly to back. He doesn't do it every day but does it often.
Currently during the day Bryce eats every 2-3 hours and we follow the eat, activity, play schedule. Once he wakes up he eats, than he plays for about an hour/hour and a half and then naps for 45 minutes-2 hours, sometimes 3 hours but that is usually only once a week or so. He's doing awesome at daycare. He currently loves to be swaddled, and loves his soothie pacis but only for sleep time. He does not want a paci when he's awake and playing. He's a happy chill baby and even when he's exhausted he's smiling. If I didn't know to put him on a "schedule" he'd be fine being awake most of the day. I know this because some days we are out and about all morning and I can tell he's exahusted but he pushes through it. Unlike Kieran he doesn't nap wow in public. When Kieran was a baby he could nap anywhere. Bryce wants his crib! Well he can nap swaddled flat anywhere. When we are going to be away from home I bring his swaddle and paci and he can nap on a floor in the corner or the couch or wherever I can safely put him. He doesn't want to be snuggled or held when he's tired.
Bryce just went on his first plane ride the weekend before he turned 4 months. He was a rockstar and was amazing all of the passengers with his ability to smile and not cry.
Kieran is still loving being a big brother and is rocking at it as well. I can't wait for the upcoming months to see how their relationship continues to grow. Currently Kieran loves playing with him and is very affectionate with him. He is constantly giving him hugs and kisses and calls him Brycie!
Ok that's about all I can blog about for now. Here are his monthly pictures from the last 3 months. Fingers crossed I can be better about updates.
