6 Weeks

I'm a little behind on my blogging since the computer has been in the shop so I'll try and catch up the best I can.

Another day at the breastfeeding support group. I'm meeting a lot of great women and their babies and it's really nice to see how Kieran is growing. I can't remember his exact weight but I think it was 6 lb 1 oz.

We hung at the house most of the day and than my buddy Janelle came over to have some snuggle time with our little man.

Breastfeeding group, Kieran weighed in at 6 lb. 3 oz. Mom and I probably did something fun but I can't remember.

Our friend Suzy came over in the afternoon to give our little guy some snuggle time.

Kieran went to his first movie. I was nervous what the others in the theater would think, I mean who brings a baby to the movies, right? Well I think it's a great idea, I thought of it after hearing that one of the girls in my breastfeeding support group took her baby to the movies. Infants are so easy to do "stuff" with, especially when they sleep so much. So Kieran's first movie was at just over 5 weeks to see Life as we Know it. He behaved an only made a few grunting noises while I fed him his bottle. What a good boy!

I know my son is little, obviously he's little he was born just about 6 weeks early. He's slowly becoming the size of a real baby, but while he's small we get to "play" with him. What does that mean, it means we get to dress him in doll clothes. Ok, I don't have doll clothes, but I do have teddy bear clothes, (VT teddy bear clothes to be exact) and lets just say they fit a little too perfect.
No one can deny the cuteness of this outfit

My mom has been good about not holding Kieran all day long. She gives him time in his crib to play with his toys. Ok she plays with his toys but he watches her. He loves his Grammy!

He loves to lay with his feet in the air, this kid is going to have killer abs!

With the nice October weather we decided to walk around Colonial Williamsburg. We took Kieran into the Scottish shop and had his picture taken with the big bear statue.

After Colonial Williamsburg we decided to go to the Camelot bear store in the old outlets.

It's hard to believe that it is only now my due date. Kieran was born 5.5 weeks ago. I can't imagine life without him.

Sean's parents, May-Mi and Pop-Pop arrived to meet him today. They would be visiting for a week and were excited to get some Kieran time.

In the morning I went to the breastfeeding support group. Kieran weighed in at 6 lb 2.8 ounces. He had lost a little from Thursday. I guess this is what happens when I try to exclusively breast feed before the little one is ready. Back to giving the little one a follow up bottle after each feeding.

I was only able to stay for a little bit because we had a doctor's appointment to get to. The doctor's appointment was pretty uneventful, just another chance to meet with the doctor and ask a few questions. Everything is going well with our boy!

We got back to the house and relaxed and than went over to the Time Share Sean's parents were staying at. They had a free wine and cheese event that we wanted to take advantage of, and than we went back to their place for take out Chinese!

Tuesday was PumpkinVille Day! This was a day of pure joy, or torture (it's your call) for our little guy. We dressed him up in one of his many pumpkin outfits and gave him the "best" experience we could give him.

All excited and ready to go

This isn't fun anymore

But we're not stopping

Mom, please can we stop this?
