Life has been slightly busy these last few weeks, I guess when life changes you have to find time for what you used to have all the time in the world, in this case I'm referring to my blog. I'll try and catch everyone up as much as possible, but I'll probably forget lots of fun stuff since time has been moving so fast. Let's see if I can split it up into the three weeks and summarize instead of the daily summaries.
Week 9:
Kieran weighed 7 lb 9.8 oz at the beginning of his 9th week and ended at 8 lb 1 oz at the end of the week, a little over a 7 oz weight gain!
Pipere and Nana (my Dad and step-mom) visited Kieran for a long weekend, they could not get enough of the smiley little guy. He is really starting to get a personality.

Kieran had his 2 month checkup, this is where he weighed in at 8 lb 1 oz, 14" head circumference and 20.5" length. What a big boy! The appointment went really well until the shots came. He had to get four shots and let's just say he was less than thrilled. Kieran ended up doing the silent cry and we were afraid he was going to pass out since he seemed to hold the scream forever. That night was AWFUL. Every time he moved his legs he would scream, I guess his muscles were very sore. Luckily it was just for a few hours and by the next morning he was as good as new.

Week 10:
Kieran went from 7 lb 15.4 oz (the 8 lb 1 oz was being weighed at the dr.'s office so the scale is different) to 8 lb 3.4 oz. Only 4 oz, but I am now exclusively breast feeding meaning I am no longer following up his feeds with a bottle. Sometimes Sean still feeds him a bottle at night but Kieran is really picking up this breast feeding thing. From what I've been told it's good to have a 4-7 oz weight gain each week so he's still in the healthy range.

I've met such great friends through my Lamaze class and they also have been going to the breast feeding support group so we're getting to know each other and each others babies a lot more. We decided to get together one afternoon to hang out and go for a little walk together. Then of course we had to have a little baby photo shoot.
Kieran and I cheered his Daddy on a his half marathon. It was Sean's second half marathon that of course he didn't really get to train for since Kieran has taken up a little more of his time than he expected. He still did awesome though!

After Sean's race we headed up to Northern Virginia for Kieran's first overnight visit where he met his cousins and Aunt Amy and Uncle Scott.
Week 11:
Our little boy is definitely growing. This week he went from 8 lbs 4.4 oz. to 8 lb 9 oz. We were curious to see if he'd be 9 lbs by Thanksgiving, but it's not going to happen, maybe by the end of the month though.
Kieran's personality is really starting to come through. He is a big smiler when he wants and can be very stubborn too, just like his Mommy. We are having so much fun with him. The mornings are especially fun for Kieran and I. We enjoy playing, talking and laughing together. Lots of fun times!!!

I have slowly been getting back to running and finally had a chance to run a 5K. Sean and Kieran came out to support me, and I even placed 2nd in my age group!!!
We had our friends from Lamaze class over to hang out this past weekend. It's fun having friends with babies the same age as Kieran. They can all grow up together. I can't believe how fast all of them are growing though.
For Thanksgiving both of my sisters are coming into town. It'll be great to have a sister Thanksgiving!!! Stacy arrived this past Monday and she is staying until the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. Amie flies in on Thanksgiving morning.
These last few weeks have been busy and have flown by so quick. It really makes me nervous because my little boy is growing TOO fast. Breast feeding is getting easier but I still need to use the nipple shield. Sleeping at night is still a battle some evenings. The last few nights he's been extra fussy and really just wants to be held or to be anywhere else besides his bassinet. Hopefully this will pass and we can get our boy sleeping through the night pretty soon.
Bath time is still Kieran's favorite time of the day, although he hates getting out of the bath. I guess going from a warm bath to a cool home isn't very much fun.

Great updates Tricia! Love that he is so happy and healthy and that you all are doing so well. Enjoy your sister time for the next few days. Love you!
